Notifications to improve tracking and collaboration around your recruitments

With Beetween recruitment software, you can alert your colleagues of your messages via notifications, and store your exchanges directly in the candidate file. What is a notification?


There are different types of notifications in Beetween:

  • Summary e-mail: This is an e-mail summarizing your latest recruitment activities: applications to be processed, recruitment in progress (including inactives), job advertisements more than 30 days old, and even your daily tasks.

    You can change the frequency with which this e-mail is sent in Settings > Personal settings > Notifications: “Every day”, “Every week”, “Every month” or “Never”. You can also change the frequency directly from one of these e-mails.

⚠️ The summary e-mail you receive only concerns the recruitments you are involved in: those you own, and those that have been shared with you. The same applies to notifications in Beetween.

  • Notifications in Beetween: These are the internal notifications for your Beetween account. Accessible directly from your Beetween interface (dashboard, software navigation bar), or by e-mail, they give you access to various information and are updated in real time.

    By clicking on the bell in the software's navigation bar (“🔔”), you can mark a notification as read (“👁️”), in which case it will remain in the list, or delete it permanently (“🗑️”). Clicking on a notification takes you directly to the page to which it refers, automatically marking it as read.

When is a notification sent?


You can choose to be notified by e-mail (only in certain cases) or in Beetween of the activities of your choice via the “Notifications” page, located in your Settings. Below is a list of the activities for which you can request notification, and how.

⚠️ If you are a Company Administrator, don't forget to select the reach to which you wish to apply the choices you are about to make: Company, Agency or User. By default, the breadcrumb trail below the page title (“Notifications”) is set to User reach.

Collaborative recruitment: tag your colleagues!


A good way to use notifications in Beetween (and, eventually, summary e-mails) is to mention your collaborators.

Mentioning someone means identifying them in a message so that they receive a notification. For example, you can easily ask one of your colleagues, who is also a Beetween user, for an opinion on a candidate, simply by leaving a comment in the candidate form's activities.

How does it work? Go to the relevant candidate file, and add a comment in the activities.

Example: If you type “@Jean Martin What did you think of this candidate?”, your colleague Jean Martin will be notified of your message and will be able to reply in the same way.

When you type the “@”, an autocomplete list appears to help you. This list is fed from your address book. By default, all your company's users are pre-registered.

⚠️ In order for your colleagues to have access to the comment in which you mentioned them, the candidate's recruitment file must have been shared with them beforehand.
